Chris is a self-taught, traditional, and digital freelance artist.  Inspired by 90’s comic artist particularly  Todd Mcfarlane.  Chris’s early work consisted of local business logos, private commissions, character design, pinups, and has had several pieces of fan art published in SPAWN. Professionally, he broke onto the comic book scene in 2021 with Source Point Press on Stan Konopka’s THE REJECTED omnibus and Marat Mychaels Counterpoint Comics NAUGHTY N NYCE Halloween Special. He then got the opportunity to draw a 2 issue arc of Christopher Priest’s VAMPIRELLA for Dynamite Entertainment. Since then has worked with SPAWNS own Chance Wolf and Dan Kemp on cover work for Bad Bug Media and other indie books.  Most recently, Chris has done work for Haunted Pizza doing various covers, inks, and pinups on books such as KONI WAVES, LOOSE THREADS, and USASSASSIN. His new project, WRITHE & PAYNE, which he created with Mark Poulton, has garnered the praise of many industry professionals including comic book legend, Dale Keown.
