Alexandra Filipek is a New Jersey based illustrator whose work is based on nature and times when people lived closer to it.
Historical themes are also prevalent in her work, especially the Bronze Age and Medieval time periods. These themes and techniques are present in her digital comics: An Object of Ritual Importance, Shaman, Koekoek and the Last Mammoth, and The Oracle. Filipek is also working on a new online series called 2000 BC.
