David Crownson is the creator of the best selling comic Harriet Tubman: Demon Slayer. He also founded Kingwood Comics, whose mission is to empower creatives to tell diverse stories within multiple genres in an epic graphic novel format. His vision is to ultimately build a space that will give independent storytellers the opportunity to create fun and exciting content at a company where their work will be honored and elevated. Named after David's hometown in New Jersey, Kingwood Comics is a tribute to his younger self and the place where he first connected with and fell in love with the artistry and magic of comic books.
