Franco is a multiple Eisner and Harvey award winning writer and artist. Along with his frequent collaborator Art Baltazar, Franco is best known for co-creating the highly succesful Tiny Titans for DC Comics, which won the Eisner award for Best Publication for Kids in 2009 and 2011, as well as the 2011 Harvey Award for Best Original Graphic Publication for Younger Readers. The pair is also responsible for Itty Bitty Hellboy from Dark Horse comics, winning them another Eisner Award, this time for Best Publication for Early Readers in 2014. From that success came more "Itty Bitty" titles including Itty Bitty Comics: The Mask and Itty Bitty Comics: Grimmiss Island. Their other work for DC Comics includes writing Billy Batson and the Magic of Shazam and helping to launch DC's Young Justice Comic, writing the first 6 issues of the series based on the successful cartoon before launching Green Team in DC's New 52. As the founder and owner of Blindwolf Studios, Franco has also created several other all-ages characters and series, including Dino-Mike, Weirdsville, Action Cat, and Patrick the Wolf Boy
