Janet Sung is an illustrator, educator, and general maker-of-things currently living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Sung studied Illustration at Parsons The New School for Design, where she has been teaching as adjunct faculty since 2013. She also self-publishes original and fan work book projects with her close friend, Arielle Jovellanos, and her work has appeared in numerous anthologies, including Avatar:Children of the Earth, Hana Doki Kira, Ladies of Literature, and Monsters of the Deep. Sung is also one half of the creative studio, Future Friends Inc., a small run screen print collaboration, making stationary, posters, patches and other cute goods.
