Nik Virella is a New York City illustrator who first debuted with her run on Cassandra Clare's YA series The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones graphic novel.  Later, she illustrated IDW's G.I. Joe series and collaborated with Paul Allor on The Gardener, a Cobra Commander short story featured in G.I. Joe #12. Her work on these titles eventually led to Marvel's Night of the Living Deadpool horror sequel, Return of the Living Deadpool (2015) with writer Cullen Bunn. After pencilling Marvel's Secret Wars tie-in 1872, and Marvel's Hyperion, she is now working on All-New Wolverine.
